Panda whelped her third and final litter of pups on January 24, 2018 -- eight girls and one lonely boy.
The sire of this litter, Red, is a solid and good looking field trial competitor who won derby points, earned his Amateur Field Trial Championship
and other titles, and is still competing. He won the Open field trial at the October 2014 GRCA National, handled by his amateur trainer/handler,
over a very tough field, and was one of only 3 Goldens to qualify for and compete at the 2015 National Amateur Field Trial in Montana. He earned his
AFC title in 2017, trained and handled exclusively by his amateur owner Ernest Hawkins. Red was the sire of Panda's excellent first litter. They turned
out so well that we decided to repeat the breeding and keep a girl as a competitor and possible future breeder. The girl we kept, Py, is
the puppy second from the left in the picture above, and the one labeled as "Pink" in the litter album.
Panda's sire was a well-known field trial competitor whose puppies are making a name for him as an outstanding
sire of performance goldens. He had enough points for his AFC but could never get the necessary win although he had a number of 2nd places.
Her dam is our lovely and super-cooperative Speaker daughter
Penny, who had 18 puppies for us while serving as Jim's primary competition dog for many years.
We expect this litter to be as good as the last one -- handsome, smart, talented, sweet, cooperative, and highly trainable
dogs that will excel in any working venue. To see a pedigree for this breeding, look here.
All these puppies have now gone to their homes (except for the one we are keeping!). For general information on getting a puppy from us in the future,
