Litter Born December 28, 2021 -- Reg.# SS311884

Zoey's second litter was born the shortly after Christmas, December 28, 2021. We are disappointed that there were only two puppies, both girls -- but suspect it may have had to do with trying to accomplish a breeding during the very busy Golden Retriever Specialty, and we apparently missed the timing just a bit. At any rate, puppies and Mama came through the whelping fine and are all healthy, and that's the most important thing of all! The sire of this litter, Louie, is a talented and versatile field trial competitor,who tied for second place in Open Field Championship points in 2020. Zoey earned her Master Hunter title in October 2020, following a break to have her first litter and then the pandemic. She is cute, personable, a rocket in the field, and an easy-to-live with house pet. We love her to pieces! Zoey's sire Wyatt was a well-known field trial competitor and an outstanding sire of performance goldens. He earned his Amateur Field Championship and Field Dog Hall of Fame titles with a variety of wins and other placements, mostly trained and handled by his owner, and his Outstanding Sire title for the accomplishments of his offspring including 5 Fern Hill qualifying offspring. Her dam is our charming Panda, who earned her Master Hunter title while still two years old, and had 3 litters totalling 25 puppies. The talents and success of her progeny earned Panda her Outstanding Dam title shortly after turning 7 years of age and her current total is 9 qualifying puppies and over 100 points, nearly three times the amount needed for her OD title. We expect this litter to be terrific competition dogs in any working field, and great active house pets. To see a pedigree for this breeding, look here. This litter is very similar to our July 2021 Litter, which was also by Louie and out of Zoey's littermate sister Missy J Bonner. Missy's pups are doing extremely well so far and we are hoping to see some of them competing in Derby in the spring!
