Until the end of April, 2002, we had a large FTP area online
that contained over 100 shareware and demo games. At that time, our Webhosting company
asked us to reduce our size, or our costs would have increased to the point where
we could no longer afford to keep SSS Mag online. So, we have decided to eliminate the
Games FTP area from the site. We apologize for any inconvenience, and hope this
will not induce you to stop using SSS Online... this was a necessary business decision,
not a whim.
We realize that some of these program are no longer available anywhere else. For this
reason we decided to include all this software on our CD Rom, which was available for
purchase at that time. We are no longer selling the CD Rom
however, as of mid 2008. If you absolutely can't find the file anywhere else, contact us
and we might be induced to send you a copy if it's not too big a file.
All programs included are for IBM PCs or compatibles.
Most of these programs run in a DOS Window under WIN 3.XX or
WIN 95. Each directory contains a .txt or .doc file that has
complete program details.
Each directory and sub-directory contains one or more interesting
and fun game programs.
Some directories and sub-directories contain multiple
program archives (.zip or .exe compressed files). In each of
these, every program has an accompanying .txt or .doc file or
readme that tells about the program and what it does.
In some directories and sub-directories there is only one,
un-compressed program. In these directories you MUST
download every file in the directory or sub-directory to your
hard drive to be able to install and run the program.
We recommend that you FIRST READ / DOWNLOAD the
.txt explaination file, the readme's or the .doc files BEFORE
downloading everything in a given directory. Happy computing
